In addition to the difference in raw material standards, geomembrane products are divided into two types in the production process: the coating process and the blowing process. The geomembrane produced by the two processes does not mention the technical indicators. What are the differences?
Lamination process: Lamination process geomembrane production is also called casting process and calendering process; it is a product produced by cooling the raw material solution and rolling it through a car roll. There are two methods: single-layer casting and multi-layer co-extrusion casting.
Blown film process: also known as blow molding process, three-layer co-extrusion process, which is produced by blowing the raw material solution into a film bubble with compressed air and winding it with a guide roller.
Advantages: The cost of the coating process is low, the geomembrane has high gloss, good flexibility, and can be made more than 0.2mm; the blown film process is efficient in production, with high quality and quantity, and the rough geomembrane produced by nitrogen plus roughening is integrated, and it is not easy to be tough. If the geomembrane falls off, the produced geomembrane meets the urban construction American standard. At the same time, it can also produce geomembrane with a thickness of less than 0.2mm.
Disadvantages: The thickness and quality of the geomembrane in the lamination process are uneven; the color of the geomembrane produced by the blowing film is matte, not as bright as the lamination film, the price is slightly higher than that of the lamination film, the strength of the same standard is higher than that of the lamination film, and the durability powerful.
